The Playgroup Program caters to the needs of young children by establishing a home like environment that fosters a sense of security with their first preschool experience. We focus on creating loving, calm and nurturing environment to give them the basic foundation for learning. Each day begins with engaging circle time. Toddlers learn about colors, shapes, numbers and letters. They understand the world around them through verbal communication, sensory activities, storytelling and music exploration. Arts and crafts are incorporated into daily lessons. Developing an awareness of other children and people in their environment are a part of the toddler’s day. The Playgroup program is designed to help children develop their social skills, basic motor skills, eye hand coordination, movement control, independence, problem-solving skills and language which includes new vocabulary, & correct pronunciation.

The Pre nursery program provides a stimulating environment that gives the children the freedom to move and explore, according to their inner needs. Children can choose their own activities and work at their own pace. The program is designed to kindle each child’s curiosity and instill a lifelong love of learning.They learn about their world from their surroundings and develop their communication, integration, co-ordination and motor skills. It also enables children to develop and practice the ability to wait, share, listen and make individual choices. Children learn how to be independent whilst respecting others around them.

Our nursery program provides a rich classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore and are challenged to learn. Children work individually or in small groups to discover and unravel key learning areas, develop their intelligence and achieve their full potential. Activities in the nursery classroom include practical life exercises, sensorial activities, early language and number work, introduction to cultures and geography, botany and zoology. Each Montessori program builds on the one before it, providing challenges that are both appropriate to age and skill level. The focus is to prepare children develop independence, a strong sense of self, self-motivation and a love of learning. In this way the nursery program aims to prepare children, not just for school, but for life.

This warm and exciting educational environment features a hands-on, experiential approach to learning. This enables the student to move from simple to complex tasks, and from concrete to abstract ideas, whether in math, science, language or any other area. Montessori materials from all curricular areas are used in more depth and greater understanding than in previous years. Our kindergarten program places clear emphasis on continuing development of strong language, reading and writing abilities, creative thinking, complex problem solving, empathetic collaboration, curious investigation and decision making skills essential for ongoing success in school and life. Apart from the skills and knowledge children at this stage cultivate sound morals, character, healthy habits, team spirit and an aesthetic appreciation of the world around them. By the end of this program they are ready to move to a formal school.

Academically our kids outshine all others, and we also give them exposure to other necessary life skills – sports activities with structured curriculum for age appropriate activities with proper equipments every week, public speaking, shloka recitation, Science and GK concepts with hands on experiments, inter-school football matches, sports day at Balewadi stadium (exposure to the facilities of international standard at pre-school level) , annual day celebration at fully equipped auditorium and many more.

GD Goenka Toddler House provides an optional transport service with a fleet of 1 bus and 3 schools vans for transportation of children. We provide Safe and Comfortable transport facility that are spacious and air-conditioned. These vehicles ply on most routes of the city. Students get more space to sit and keep their bags too. They do not have to take in the air and noise pollution from outside besides reaching the school fresh and on time. Use of school transport is optional, however, we encourage all to avail this facility to avoid traffic congestion and reduce the carbon footprint.

Cctv Facility is available at GD Goenka Toddler House to keep your child recorded in eyes of camera for safety and secure purpose. It is an excellent tool to ensure the safety and security of students inside and outside of school, provide instruction to students not able to learn inside the school building, and can provide an opportunity for students to build upon reading skills.
