First Steps is a small, independently run pre school. For over 20 years that the school has run, it has been an oasis of quality education for discerning parents. First Steps is a cool breath of fresh air, where your child’s needs are put above all else. We have lots of open space for your child to explore and enjoy. We believe that each child needs the encouragement to foster their interests and growth under the direction of mature &experienced professionals. We encourage parent interactions and participation which has led parents from various parts of Bangalore to bring their child to us. Principal Message

We at FIRST STEPS strong believe in the Learning Experiential of Education in terms of development which inculcate Social Development, Mental development, Gross Motor Skill, Aesthetics Developments. Last but not the least we built: Three Finger Gripping, Confidence Building, Decision Making, Imagination power at this very early age of Toddler.

Pre Nursery ( 2. 5 - 3. 5 Years )

Children between the age group of 2.5 to 3.5 years are enrolled in Pre Nursery. Our primary focus for pre-nursery students is to ensure a smooth transition for only playing to studying as well. Therefore, all the activities have been designed to develop the reading, writing and logical skills of the children.

Nursery ( 3. 5 - 4. 5 Years )

Our curriculum in the nursery class is an extension of our pre-nursery program and is designed to give children a strong foundation in the skills and academic excellence that will be needed to enter regular school. It helps the child develop various physical, personal, social, emotional skills, literature and language skills.

Play Group ( 1. 9 - 3 Years )

Children between the age group of 2 to 2.5 years are enrolled in Playgroup. We focus on the satisfaction of the children’s inquisitive minds through concept clarity. Therefore, all the activities have been designed to develop the social, cognitive, linguistic and physical skills in children.
