What is Circle Time? It is a designated time period for young children which is important for their social interactions. It helps in building positive relationships among the children by engaging them in fun activities. It also addresses certain issues like that of too much noise or talking during the classes. The activities keep the keeps engaged. It is the responsibility of the teacher to make sure that each child is given an equal opportunity to participate and to be involved. Children are usually seated in a circle- on floors or on chairs, whatever is required and available. They pass an object around the circle to decide whose chance it is to speak. The activities can include musical games, talking and listening activities, drama and so on.
